Giang said, she was able to practice in the most proper way in a simulation center resembling an international hospital, learning how to communicate and handle situations meticulously especially when meeting people with hearing loss, visual loss, visual impairment and intellectual disability. Giang also visited hospitals to directly interact with patients and talk to the top nurses. Were it not for VinUniversity, Giang shared, it is very unlikely for her and her friends to gain such valuable experiences in just half a year.
Having a similar approach, Tran Ngoc Tran (a then student of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and a current freshman at VinUniversity’s Bachelor of Nursing) understands that the right definition of a nurse is much different from everyone’s perception. Tran needs to amass an extensive amount of medical knowledge, from biochemistry, physiology to pharmacology, as well as truly master the art of patient care.
