VinUniversity signed a letter of intent on the integrated Bachelor – Master’s program with University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, United States

Constantly striving to develop excellent curricula for our students, after the recent announcements of the integrated Bachelor – Master’s Programs with Cornell University (United States) and University of Technology Sydney, VinUniversity has successfully proceeded to sign Letter of Intent for the integrated 3+2 and 4+1 Bachelor + Master’s programs with University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), United States. With the proposed 3+2 program, Engineering & Computer Science students will study for the first 3 years at VinUni and for the next 2 years at UIUC. With the 4+1 program, students will spend 4 years at VinUni and the final year at UIUC. After the 5 years, students will graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree from VinUniversity and a Master’s Degree from UIUC.
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is ranked 48th globally according to Times Higher Education 2021, ranked 10th in Engineering in US according to US News, and among the top 25 universities with the highest number of Nobel laureates. UIUC also acts as the starting point of 90 renowned international startups including Tesla, Paypal, Salesforce, YouTube, etc. The fact that VinUniversity reached a collaboration agreement on the integrated Bachelor + Master’s Program with a top global university like UIUC underscores the educational quality at the two universities, as VinUniversity students’ academic credits and performance in the first 3-4 years are equivalently recognized and validated to meet the Master program’s admission requirements in the partner university.
