Learning to live independently must have been among the top concerns of many soon-to-be university students. Acknowledging this challenge, two students from the College of Engineering and Computer Science, VinUniversity – Nguyen Minh Tuan and Tran Tuan Viet have developed the Financial Calculator app to calculate the total estimated costs for an academic year at VinUniversity.
With this app, you can personalize the calculator by your major, duration of study (in semester or year), currency (Vietnamese dong or United States Dollars), and by the scholarship or grants offered. The total cost is categorized into 2 types: fixed costs and variable costs. Depending on personal needs, you can fill in the variable cost section with your own estimated expenses, hit the “Calculate” button and Voila!, there comes the result!
