Distinguished Cornell scholars at VinUni

VinUni recently had the privilege to host a workshop with 2 professors from the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences (CALS) at Cornell University.

Professor Max J. Pfeffer, Executive Dean of CALS shared insights into how life-changing researches at CALS accelerated purpose-driven science by supporting inquiry that meets the changing needs of our world.

While Professor Dr. Ronnie Coffman, Director of International Programs at CALS, who won the inaugural 2013 World Agriculture Prize; outlined current challenges to food production in Asia and described how global partnerships and innovative projects led by CALS researchers are addressing complex issues like climate change and food insecurity.

At the event, the two universities also discussed various additional opportunities for collaborations, including the possibility of an exchange program for Vietnamese students to study at Cornell Universities during their Global Exchange Semester.
