Celebrating the Vietnamese Science and Technology Day May 18, with the theme “Innovation to Construct the Future”, VinUniversity would like to send its sincerest regards to scientists and wish them health, resilience and wit in their scientific journey. On this occasion, let’s look back at VinUniversity’s achievements in science and technology this past year:
- The 1,100 Scholarships Program managed by VinUniversity invests in talents internationally. It offers a maximum of 100 full scholarships every year to send Vietnamese talents abroad to undertake their Masters and PhDs in over 40 key scientific subjects at 68 renowned universities in 15 developed countries, such as the USA, the UK, Germany, France, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan,… Until now, nearly 100 students have obtained full scholarship to continue their academic journey at prestigious universities, such as Harvard University, Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, Oxford University, Nanyang Technology University, National University of Singapore, Australian National University,…
- The VinUniversity’s STEME Program has sponsored the establishment of STEME Clubs at 50 high schools across the country – educating teachers, providing free open-source study materials and organizing STEME Day events for over 600 science-loving high school students.
- At the VinUniversity’s College of Engineering and Computer Science, freshmen have the opportunity to participate in leading professors’ research projects, which bring real-world values to the community, such as: the remote medical support project; the cardiovascular disease diagnosis on mobile devices project; the energy-saving lighting device invention project; the virtual lab enhancement project…
VinUniversity would also like to congratulate and honor the VinFuture Prize for Science and Technology, the Innovation Fund recently established by Vingroup Innovation Foundation VinIF, the Vingroup Big Data Institute, the VinAI Research Institute, VinBrain,… for their persistent effort to create positive and sustainable changes in Vietnam’s scientific research ecosystem.
