VinUnian Tran Gia Khanh received the Science and Technology Scholarship from Vingroup
Since his first year at VinUni, Tran Gia Khanh has been actively participating in research activities as a Research Assistant. The student with a passion for research has succeeded in applying for the Vingroup Master’s Scholarship, majoring in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania (ranked the 13th best university in the world – QS World University Rankings 2022) as part of the integrated Bachelor – Master program at VinUni.
Each year, Vingroup gives out up to 100 scholarships for Vietnamese talents to study Master and PhD. programs in STEM at more than 60 universities around the world.
Sharing about his application journey, Gia Khanh said that in-depth research experience at VinUni is an important factor that helps him stand out among hundreds of candidates. “Right from the first year, I had the opportunity to participate in many large-scale research projects with professors and lecturers of my College. One of which is called “Research on the properties of LED” instructed by Dr. Le Van Quynh. This experience helps me practice my professional knowledge, research skills, teamwork, and communication,” Khanh expressed.
Regarding future plans, Khanh hopes to continue gain more knowledge and skills in his professional field and participate in practical research projects. At the same time, he wishes to explore and experience the multicultural living environment in America.
“VinUni is a place that gives students opportunity to do scientific research right from their first year, which is something I am very passionate about. When I complete my studies, I would like to join VinUni as a researcher or lecturer” – Tran Gia Khanh, student at the College of Engineering and Computer Science added.
