VinUni is honored to welcome Professor of Nursing, Jeanette Ives Erickson from Massachusetts General Hospital, USA at VinUni under the Visiting Distinguished Professor program. During her visit, Professor Jeanette delivered several inspiring talks with faculty members and VinUni students from the Bachelor of Nursing program, as well as the leadership and healthcare experts at Vinmec Times City Hospital.
Professor Jeanette emphasized the increasing demand for nurses with strong management, leadership, and research skills to take on high-level leadership positions in the healthcare system, such as hospital presidents or chief executive officers at healthcare facilities.
“In the future, the career path for nursing students is wide open with opportunities for master’s and doctorate studies to build high-quality and meaningful healthcare services with a network of committed experts and communities. Let us always be proud of the importance of the nursing profession and work together to ensure that nursing receives the respect it deserves,” Professor Jeanette remarked.
