Students From the College of Business & Management and College of Engineering & Computer Science Meet and Discuss with Cornell Professors at the Student Award Ceremony

On October 10th, in the solemn atmosphere of the Convocation Ceremony for the 2022 – 2023 academic year, the College of Business & Management and the College of Engineering & Computer Science hosted the Student Award Ceremony for the 2021 – 2022 academic year. In attendance were Professors from Cornell University – a strategic partner of VinUniversity in curriculum design and quality inspection for the 2 Colleges.

At the ceremony, Prof. Edward McLaughlin – Robert G. Tobin Emeritus Professor of Marketing at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management – and Prof. Mark Campbell – John A. Mellowes ’60 Professor in Mechanical Engineering, Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering – highlighted the history of cooperation between VinUniversity and Cornell University through impressive numbers:

The prestigious awards presented at the ceremony including President’s List Award, EXCEL Award, and Dean’s List Award to honor students with outstanding achievements in academic activities and extracurricular activities, demonstrating the 5 core VinUniversity values ​​(EXCEL).

Nguyen Minh Tuan – a 3rd-year student at the College of Engineering and Computer Science – shared: “This day 2 years ago, I was extremely stressed because of all my excellent friends, who excelled in both academia and extracurricular activities. However, this has become my driving force to push my limits and become the best version of myself every day. For the next 20 or 30 years, I will always remember the time spent living, studying, and hanging out with my talented friends at VinUni.”

“During my time studying at VinUni, I had the opportunity to discover myself, grow, and become more open.
