[Student Exchange] VinUniversity Students can Take Part in a Student Exchange Program at Canada’s No.1 University

According to the agreement between VinUniversity and the University of Toronto (Canada), from the 2022-2023 academic year, students from both universities will have the opportunity to take part in the student exchange program and study at the partner university. Students can choose between studying or researching with no extra cost. Every year, 2-4 students from VinUniversity can participate in this exchange program at the University of Toronto and vice versa. Both universities recognize each other’s quality and corresponding credits.

In addition to the University of Toronto, to implement student exchange programs, VinUniversity has cooperated with many reputable universities around the world, such as: Cornell University (USA); University of Technology Sydney (Australia); Yonsei University, Pohang University of Science and Technology (South Korea); Nyenrode Business University (Netherlands), etc.

In order to receive the most benefits and the best experiences, VinUniversity students will begin their exchange program in their 3rd year at university. The first batch of VinUniversity students going on exchange programs abroad will start in the Spring semester of the 2022 – 2023 academic year. Currently, there are about 60 student exchange spots available at partner universities for VinUniversity students. The list of partner universities and corresponding exchange spots will be announced in the near future.

Students can choose to attend or conduct research at a partner institution at no additional cost. For example, VinUniversity students will continue paying their tuition fees at VinUniversity and go on exchange at the University of Toronto without incurring tuition costs from the University of Toronto. However, in order to participate in the program, students will have to cover their own airfare, accommodation, and so on during their study abroad.
