VINUNIAN – NGUYEN THI VAN ANH: SENDING SOME SUNSHINE FROM AUSTRALIA
Hey guys, I am Van Anh, a 3rd year student at VinUniversity College of Business and Management. Currently, I am enjoying the summer sun in the land of kangaroos, thanks to my exchange semester at the University of Technology Sydney – UTS.
I had dreamt of coming to and studying in Australia since my high school years. Thus, I was always looking out for ways to turn this dream into a reality. At VinUniversity, my friends and I established VinUni Harmony and organized some of the university’s biggest events, such as the Teaching Summit. Additionally, I also enjoyed doing community service. Last year, I had the chance to travel to many places, from Dak Nong to Yen Bai, Bac Giang, Lang Son, and Hung Yen. Personally, I saw these activities as amazing opportunities to learn and experience. My last 2 years at VinUniversity had also become a strong foundation for me to step out into the world.
Perhaps I am feeling overly excited, yet despite only being in Australia for 10 days, I have felt myself grow two times, three times faster than usual! I am particularly struck by the multiculturalism here. I can meet friends from all over the world. I can also feel the UTS spirit – that is enthusiastic support for comprehensive growth. During my time here, I will try to explore all corners of the school and, if possible, the entirety of this beautiful country ^^. See you guys when I update more on my experiences at UTS!
