How to Apply?

General requirements for candidates:

1. Have graduated with a bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic performance in the disciplines of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or other related fields.
2. Demonstrate AACC (A – Outstanding Ability; A – Aspiration; C – Creativity; C – Commitment).
3. English language proficiency satisfies one of the conditions below
   • Have an English certificate of IELTS 6.5 or higher (or equivalent) before the date of enrollment
   • Graduation from university degrees in programs taught in English.
   • For candidates who do not satisfy English requirement above, candidates need to:
     • At the time of admissions: candidates need to have IELTS of 5.5 or higher or equivalent as specified in Appendix II or Circular No. 18/2021/TT-BGDĐT.
     • Within 12 months from the start date of Master program: candidates need to submit a valid IELTS 6.5 or higher (or equivalent).

Step 1: Prepare the admission documents as the list below:

• A curriculum vitae (CV) in English that outlines the educational background and work experience;
• Diplomas and Academic transcripts: Must be translated and notarized into English if the language of presentation in the original documents is not English;
• Proof of English language proficiency satisfies one of the conditions below:
  • Have an English certificate of IELTS 6.5 or higher (or equivalent) before the date of enrollment
  • Graduation from university degrees in programs taught in English.
  • For candidates who do not satisfy English requirement above, candidates need to:
    • At the time of admissions: candidates need to have IELTS of 5.5 or higher or equivalent as specified in Appendix II or Circular No. 18/2021/TT-BGDĐT.
    • Within 12 months from the start date of Master program: candidates need to submit a valid IELTS 6.5 or higher (or equivalent).

• Two letters of recommendation/reference from the applicant’s professors/lecturers under whom the applicant has studied or pursued research related to the training program or from supervisors who have supervised the applicant’s work related to the training program. The letters of recommendation must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be written in English; and
  • Must have an official letterhead and the signature of the recommender.
• An essay to share about applicant’s experiences and passion for AI technology.

Step 3: Qualified candidates will be invited to an Interview with VinUni Professors.

Step 4: Admission decisions will be made by the Admissions Committee, and you will be notified about the final results.
