Financial aids

FINANCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS 

For New Students: 

Applicants who meet the admission criteria (including both international and Vietnamese candidates) but face financial difficulties can apply for Financial Aid (FA) to support tuition payment and pursue their studies at VinUni. The level of financial aid is determined based on the student’s family economic situation, starting from 50% or more, and is subject to review and approval by the Financial Aid Committee. Financial Aid results will be announced on the 15th of every month.  

Note: Financial Aid results will be released on time for applicants who meet the following criteria: 

• The applicant has been admitted and has received their scholarship results. 

• The applicant submitted their application on time, before 11:59 PM on the 15th of the previous month. For applications submitted after this deadline, the results will be announced on the 15th of the next application review cycle. 

For Current Students:
During their studies at VinUni, students may apply for additional Financial Aid (beyond the initial support received upon admission) if their family experiences unforeseen financial difficulties that directly affect their ability to continue studying at VinUni. This support is intended to help students avoid disruptions in their academic journey. 

Each year, VinUni conducts two Financial Aid review cycles for current students, in July and November. Detailed application guidelines can be found [HERE]. 

In addition to the Financial Aid Program, students can access other support programs, including the Work-Study Program, the Research Assistant Program, the Donor Support Fund, and the Bank Loan Subsidy Program. 

We believe that reducing the financial gap for families will help create diversity within the student community at VinUni and enrich students’ experiences at the university.
