    TUITION FEES, SCHOLARSHIPS, FINANCIAL AIDS
    ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025

    A. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

    I. TUITION FEE

    At VinUni, tuition fee payment will be made twice a year at the beginning of each main semester (Fall Semester and Spring Semester). For detailed financial and fee regulations, please read documents at the end of the website.

    Note:

    • Fund for Education Development from the Founding Donor (equivalent to 35% of the listed tuition fee): Funding for  all VinUni students in the first five intakes and this will apply to the entire duration of their studies at VinUni.
    • The tuition fee is equivalent to 4-8 subjects/semester.
    • Tuition fees include training-practice fees, facilities, technology, student activities (orientation, medical services and school psychology counseling, academic counselors, career counselors, student council, clubs, sporting-cultural events).
    • The tuition fee is equivalent to 8-14 subjects/school year.
    • VinUni students admitted to the peer-to-peer international exchange program will study at one of VinUni’s partner university for one or two semesters. Students are not required to pay tuition fee to the partner university and they will receive credit after participating in the exchange program. Tuition fee, which will be paid to VinUni, will remain the same as when the students attend VinUni.

    The majority of VinUni’s partner universities are either in the Top 100 Universities globally or the world’s leading university in related majors/fields.

    II. SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AIDS

    Up until academic year 2024-2025, VinUni has awarded more than VND 882 billion to many students with outstanding potentials or disadvantaged backgrounds from Vietnam and more than 20 countries around the world.

    Understanding the important role of scholarship and financial aid policies in ensuring access to high-quality higher education at VinUni for talented students, we apply a generous Scholarships and Financial Aid policy as below.

    Note: Candidates can apply for more than one type of scholarship/ financial aid, but the maximum grant amount must not exceed 100% of the tuition fee. Full Ride Scholarship will cover 100% of tuition fees plus VND 34.965.000/year for living expenses.

    1. MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

    Merit-based Scholarships are dedicated to students with outstanding academic achievements and personal qualities – who have aspirations and ambitions, can think outside the box and critically, proactive and courageous, and will not give up on their dreams easily. The level of the Scholarship granted depends on the potential and talent of the student according to the consideration of the Admissions Council.

    Merit-based Scholarships are applied for the entire duration of the students’ studies at VinUni.

    The Scholarship level is automatically renewed each academic year if the student meets the minimum renewal criteria.

    We believe that these minimum renewal criteria will motivate students to maintain their academic performance as well as extracurricular activities to be worthy of the Merit-based Scholarship awarded by the Admission Council.

    2. ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

    In addition to the Founding Donor’s Fund for Education Development and

    Merit-based Scholarship, students can apply for additional scholarship as follows:

     

    3. FINANCIAL AIDS

    • Students who meet the admission criteria (including both international and Vietnamese students) but are faced with difficulties in finances and need to apply for financial aids to be able to pay tuition fee and study at VinUni.
    • The financial aid available is contingent upon family circumstances, offering support at various levels, including 40%, 45%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%, 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%, and 100%.
    • The level of financial aids may be granted on a semester/yearly basis or for the entire duration of the program depending on the actual evaluation results by the Committee.

    B. POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMS

    Students admitted to the Resident Doctor Program can have their tuition sponsored and receive other grants/allowances from Vinmec Healthcare System. Visit https://vinuni.edu.vn/post-graduate/ to find detailed information.

    Graduate students admitted to the Computer Science PhD program have the opportunity to receive 100% tuition scholarship throughout the course of their studies.
